The Harvey's Life

So this is by far the longest I have gone with out blogging. I am so sorry, it just became easier to not as time passed. Christmas has come and gone, the New Year has come and gone, and Valentines Day has come and gone. That being said I have a lot to tell you. Christmas time was really good. We got to spend time with family and friends. Lots of food, good company and laughing, what more could you ask for? Matt's Mom and Dad, our nephew Ashton, and Matt's Grandma Harvey came up this year for Christmas. It was a lot of fun getting to spend time with them and getting to know Ashton. Over the holiday as well, we got to spend time with our friends the Strozuk's, they came over a couple of times to help us clear out some of the tree mess in our yard, at one point we had 8 children and 7 adults all in the house, it was loud, it was crazy, and I honestly loved it. In the mean time we have painted, put new floors in the dinning room and living room. We also have refinished out dinning room table and chairs. I have been very busy with all of that, Halloween costumes, volunteering with preschool, and planning birthday party's. Few... Yes I am tired and sick, in fact we all are sick. Emma had pink eye and an ear infection, and we got antibiotics for her. Hailey had a very bad ear infection, it ruptured her left ear drum and she has had a fever for well over a week now. Matt and I have bad colds, soar thoughts, runny noses, and head aches. But we are all together a...

I can't really keep track anymore but the good news is that he is home now and we are getting things done around the house. We painted the dinning room, living room, and I call it the fireplace room, but it is attached to the living room. We painted the clings and all. As for the trim it is still white, but when we get more time we are going to strip it and stain it to match our new floor molding. Oh yeah we put new floors in those rooms as well. They had a nasty old carpet in them, now they have a nice new "Brazilian chary" laminate and we re-did the hearth for the wood stove too. We didn't want to spend so much on the molding that would have matched the molding so we bought raw molding and stained it. It doesn't...

Most of you might be saying that they will be close together, well Emma and Hailey are 23 months apart and Hailey and baby # 3 will be 18 months apart. We are excited about this and looking forward to our children being able to grow up close. Emma started preschool today. It was so much fun to see her walk down the hall to her room.
