Happy Birthday Hailey!

The barn cake.

We are in Vancouver, WA right now. We decided with all the time that Matt has been away from home that it was time to be together as a family. In the mean time we have painted, put new floors in the dinning room and living room. We also have refinished out dinning room table and chairs. I have been very busy with all of that, Halloween costumes, volunteering with preschool, and planning birthday party's. Few... Yes I am tired and sick, in fact we all are sick. Emma had pink eye and an ear infection, and we got antibiotics for her. Hailey had a very bad ear infection, it ruptured her left ear drum and she has had a fever for well over a week now. Matt and I have bad colds, soar thoughts, runny noses, and head aches. But we are all together and that had been a blessing. Sophie our horse got her teeth done and while we were there we thought that we would ask about the bump still left from her surgery early this summer. Well she had a piece of stitch left in there from the first time, but it is out now and she is healing great.

Before we left we had Hailey's 1st birthday party it was a farm theme. I made a barn cake, that did not turn out at all like I wanted it too, but my worst enemy "no time" caught up with me and we had to do with what we had. It still was a lot of fun and we had a lot of people show up, to show their love for our little girl. It was so wonderful. Sunday, Halloween we were looking forward to going trick or treating for the first year. But our girls were too sick. It was really sad, we can see the fire department from our house and they have a bon fire and hot chocolate for the kids and then the kids can go trick or treating from there. Emma just stared out the window and said I want to be my butterfly. We had planed on leaving late so that we could carve pumpkins and do all the fun stuff and then travel while the kids slept, but we didn't get to do anything fun and we still left late.

Once we got here we spent the first day at urgent care for Hailey's high fever, then after they said she was fine and had no ear infection we ended up taking Emma back to the urgent care because she had pink eye and was complaining of ear pain. She got antibiotics and eye drops. The day after that I was monitoring Hailey very close because she has a 104 -105 temp most of the day. At 3:30 after her nap she had blood and green mucus coming out of her left ear. We took her back, and got in in 10 min. "Thank God", we saw a different Dr. and he happen to be a pediatrician. When he saw her and we told him that we were there yesterday with her and they didn't do anything, he got a very surprised look on his face and said, "you came here"? I said,"Yes we are from out of town, or we would have just taken her to out Dr.". He left the room, and came back with his card and a pamphlet with numbers in it. He said if we were ever in town again and needed to be seen that we could make appointments there for ped. and to make sure and see him. I will for sure, if needed. We got Hailey antibiotics and ear drops. He said that if there was an infection in the other ear that the antibiotics should take care of it. I sure hope so. She still has an fever of 102 as of now and I am hoping that it goes away soon and the she can be on the mend.

Well next weekend Saturday the 13th is Emma's 3rd birthday, we are getting to celibate it on the day, how about that? She has requested a pink horse birthday. So you got it I am making a horse cake, with pink halter of course. So we are looking forward to that.

Matt will be leaving soon after that for deer camp this year. He and my dad, along with some of our other friends got drawn to hunt in Montana. It will be over Thanksgiving of course so us girls are going up to spend the day with our friends "Auntie Sara" in Tonasket, WA.

As for pictures of the girls in their costumes we will get them shortly. We are going to take them to some of our friends house's to go "trick or treating" and we are going to carve our pumpkins then too. At this age who said that it has to be on that day. Hailey is going to be a daisy by the way.

Hope that this post finds all you and your family in good health.

God Bless,
Anna

Big Changes!

Where to start? I had my CT scan and my full body bone scan, and both came back clean!! Praise Jesus! So that being said I am at a stage 3 and nothing has changed. The cancer is all in my right breast and no where else. I meet with my oncology Dr. tomorrow to figure out all of my chimo stull. I will be getting a port and I belive my schedule will be a 3 on 4 off, but I will find out more tomorrow. I would like to thank everyone who has provided food, help, contunide prayers, love, and support. There are so many that I would need a book to get all of you listed. You all are loved so much, ans so appriciated. This week we got to have family pictures taken, the day after that I took William with me to get my hair cut. He was having a hard time with the idea of me being bald. Well he handdelt it will, so well that he said, "Mommy you can hold my hand, it will be ok". Oh this boy of mine. I love his tender heart so much. He could see I was having a hard time with it ...

Endurance, Perseverance, Hope...

As many of you know, our two oldest children were blessed with the opportunity to go to the Diamond J Rodeo Camp. This is their second year, but it feels like it has been a life time. I was really hoping and praying that I would be able to go and was thinking that I was going to have to miss is this year. It brings so much joy to not only to our children but to me. I leave there filling filled with the Holy Spirt. The relationships you gain while there are lifelong ones. I truly consider them family. That all being said I was able to go and the girls grew in both their rodeo skills as in the relationship with Christ. God truly has a way of speaking through people and there were many times that I felt that He was speaking directly to me. On the last night, Pastor Al had asked us to close our eyes in preparation to pray, then said, " Now look at yourself" I did, and to my surprise I saw a beautiful version of myself. I thought to myself this must be how God sees me. I...
