The Harvey's Life

So I know I told you all to stay tuned, I didn't mean for it to go on for months. I was going to post pictures of the nursery the day that we were going to go into the hospital, but that didn't happen. My laptop once again took a dump. So I apologize for the long wait. We adjusted to having a new member of the family, so now I have time to finally make a post. One last picture before baby Ben is here. Me at 39 weeks one day. We went in on Thursday for a 3:00 pm appointment. It was a pre-surgical visit, they did all of my lab work and I got all the paper work done then. Then Friday morning we had to be at the hospital at 5:45 am. They got me checked in immediately, and this is something that I found a little overwhelming yet reassuring all at the same time. Everyone that was to be in the OR with me came at once and introduced them self. Sisterly Love Emma at 3 years old Hailey at 1 year old So it is almost that time for our little man to come and grace us with his presence. It sure feels like spring around here, a new littler of kittens, daffodils are coming up, and the grass is turning green. We have been busy as always, but doing good. Matt just got back from spending the weekend in Ellensburg for work, he will be spending next weekend there too, and would be spending the week, but oh yeah we are having a baby. He was going to just take Thursday and Friday off but I have been having some contractions that get worse if I do too much. What, me over doing it, that just couldn't be. So my wonderful husband, knowing me so well said, "I am going to take most of that week off so that I can do the cleaning that needs to be done, because I know if I don't you will". So this is by far the longest I have gone with out blogging. I am so sorry, it just became easier to not as time passed. Christmas has come and gone, the New Year has come and gone, and Valentines Day has come and gone. That being said I have a lot to tell you. Christmas time was really good. We got to spend time with family and friends. Lots of food, good company and laughing, what more could you ask for? Matt's Mom and Dad, our nephew Ashton, and Matt's Grandma Harvey came up this year for Christmas. It was a lot of fun getting to spend time with them and getting to know Ashton. Over the holiday as well, we got to spend time with our friends the Strozuk's, they came over a couple of times to help us clear out some of the tree mess in our yard, at one point we had 8 children and 7 adults all in the house, it was loud, it was crazy, and I honestly loved it.
