Sisterly Love
Emma at 3 years old
Hailey at 1 year old
So it is almost that time for our little man to come and grace us with his presence. It sure feels like spring around here, a new littler of kittens, daffodils are coming up, and the grass is turning green. We have been busy as always, but doing good. Matt just got back from spending the weekend in Ellensburg for work, he will be spending next weekend there too, and would be spending the week, but oh yeah we are having a baby. He was going to just take Thursday and Friday off but I have been having some contractions that get worse if I do too much. What, me over doing it, that just couldn't be. So my wonderful husband, knowing me so well said, "I am going to take most of that week off so that I can do the cleaning that needs to be done, because I know if I don't you will". I am so thankful for my husband and all that he does for our family.
Emma is getting very excited for "baby brother" to get here, every time I have a check up she says, "are you going to the doctor to get "baby brother" out"? We have to tell her no, not yet, but soon. She is constantly lifting my shirt and kissing my belly and putting her ear up to my belly and telling me what "baby brother" has to say. I love it.
Hailey is keeping all of on our toes. She is talking so much more and did I mention that she loves to eat? She will finish her food and if sister has anything left on her plate Hailey is all over it. She also will look at something that she knows that she is not suppose to do and then she will just turn and put herself in time out. It is too funny. On the topic of funny, the other day Emma was at my parents house and my mom was talking to their dog. Emma came over put a hand on either side of my mom's face and said, "Grandma, dogs don't talk". Serious as can be, that was another very funny moment.
As for baby we are scheduled for our c-section for Friday, April 22 at 7:15am. More then likely we will get to go home Easter Sunday. I have been busy nesting, I made a quilt and bumper pad for the crib. I wanted something cowboy themed, well I couldn't find anything that I liked that I wanted to pay for so I thought, I will just make it myself. I asked Matt if he had any flannal shirts that he didn't want anymore, knowing that there was three that he hadn't worn in a while. He said go ahead and use thoses ones. I had a pair of his wirk pants that I had saved for futre patching of any other works pants that might be in need of repair. So with my powers and Matt's wordrob combind I was able to creat just what I had in mind. I am in the works of the mobile and a few things for the walls. I will post pictures of it when I am all done. With that being said, I will be posting soon, before Ben comes. Stay tuned.
In His Love,
Anna
