God is Great!!!

Well around Valentines day we added a new addition to our family. Her name is Sophie, she is a 7 soon to be 8 year old Grulla mare. We got her from a wonderful woman by Walla Walla, WA and have been working very hard to get Sophie home. Right now she is staying at some friends of ours house and we get out to see her about 3 times a week, or every other day; they live about an hour away. We hope to have her home in a couple of weeks at the most. Some other really good friends of ours from church have offerd to split thier paster so that we can keep her there, and that is only about 5 mins away. These same friends have some land for sale that is connected with theirs and as of now our name is to it, but we are still in the works of making it ours. They have about 10 horses and we have been helping to take are of them morning and night. It has been such a blessing to be submerged into this environment, and to learn so much just form being around our good friend Deb and his wife Cheryl. God has opened up so many doors for us and we are so thankful to Him for all the blessings that He has brought into our lives. Our dreams of owning our own ranch some day, don't seem so distant. He truly is and Awesome God!!

Endurance, Perseverance, Hope...

As many of you know, our two oldest children were blessed with the opportunity to go to the Diamond J Rodeo Camp. This is their second year, but it feels like it has been a life time. I was really hoping and praying that I would be able to go and was thinking that I was going to have to miss is this year. It brings so much joy to not only to our children but to me. I leave there filling filled with the Holy Spirt. The relationships you gain while there are lifelong ones. I truly consider them family. That all being said I was able to go and the girls grew in both their rodeo skills as in the relationship with Christ. God truly has a way of speaking through people and there were many times that I felt that He was speaking directly to me. On the last night, Pastor Al had asked us to close our eyes in preparation to pray, then said, " Now look at yourself" I did, and to my surprise I saw a beautiful version of myself. Hailey is 2 Months Old!!

So Hailey is starting to coo, I love it. She had her two month check up about two weeks ago and she weighed 10lbs 4oz 50th percentile and she was 23 1/2 in. long 90th percentile in her height.
